Adopt-A-Family
Last year, CBWLA adopted a family comprised of a single mother with five children ranging from 2 months old to 8 years old. Because of your overwhelming support and generosity, each child had clothing, toys, and stocking stuffers to unwrap Christmas morning. Additionally, we gifted the family two children's bedframes and mattresses complete with bedding and a $100 H.E.B. gift card.
This year, CBWLA is adopting another large family: a single mother with five children: 16-year-old boy; 13-year-old girl; 7-year-old girl; 6-year-old girl; and 3-year-old girl. Due to changes this family has recently moved to a new apartment. Mom's wish list ranges from cleaning supplies to furniture so the children can sit somewhere other than the floor to eat. With the exception of the 3-year-old girl who's requesting stuffed toy bears and unicorns, the remaining children are just asking for clothes this Christmas.
