About the Scholarship

To qualify for the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Memorial Scholarship, applicants must:

- Be female or someone that identifies as female.
- Be a first, second, or third year law student in the upcoming Fall semester in an accredited Texas Law School;
- Have graduated from a high school in the Texas Coastal Bend area, defined as the following counties: Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, McMullen, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio;
- Submit a 400-800 word essay in which you share a RBG quote that resonates strongly with you and answer the question: "How will you embody the notorious spirit of RBG to impact your community?"
